Spirit Hands of the Rainbow *** by Mayumi Marks
Mayumi was born in a Shinto related church in Japan.
As a child, Mayumi harmonized with the deep appreciation of life and nature that is an integral part of the Shinto tradition.
In 1994, she noticed something about Hawai'i by the voice of the spirit
when she was in the deep meditation. About three months later with much guidance,
she traveled to Hawai'i in a tour groupe in the natural flow.
It was very funny to her because she's never been interested in traveling to Hawai'i. When she has landed on Hawai'i, she just fell in love with Hawai'i, the energy, many of the alive gods and spirits, beauty of the land, ocean, wind and sky,
and she deeply connected to the land which she felt for the first time in her life.
She also started to have physical contact with wild dolphins by a trip with Joan Ocean with Koichi and Atsuko Isobe in those travels.
When she asked to dolphins " what should I be?" in her first contact,
the dolphins answered her, "Just be who you are"
This message just simply fell into her solar plexus with shining joy.
After many joyful contacts with dolphins in the wild ocean, her healing and music composing abilities were accelerated, she began to connect with her intuitive abilities
as a healer and composer.
In 2000, she received a message through the channeled being Ecton,
"you are not only doing physical treatment, you will develop very original healing"
She studied hypnotherapy in the healers course with
Richard Lavin & Ecton in 1994 in Japan.
She is certified as a Reflexologist in Japan in 1998.
She is certified as a facilitator of Crystal Healing by Crystal Academy in 2002 in Kaua'i.
In 2004 she began study on channeling with Liah Howard.
Also since her arrival to live in Maui in 2000, she has been deeply involved in the study of the Hawaiian traditions and culture.
She studies Hula with Kumu Hula Hokulani Holt-Padilla, the Halau Pa'u O Hi'iaka.
(In the Hula Halau, her kumu teach Hawai'ian culture and spirituality through hula)
She has also studied healing at the community clinic of Auntie Mahi Poe Poe,
and studying Hawai'ian spirituality with Aunty Lei'ohu Ryder.
Aunty Lei'ohu given her the name Lima Mana O Ke Anuenue, "the spirit Hand of the Rainbow" for her healing session. As the name, some poeple sees some colors without any guiding, and also many recipients feel dolphins.
